HAZLETON – U.S. Rep. Lou Barletta, PA-11, is demanding the U.S. Small Business Association offer the same interest rate to businesses affected by flooding in Northeastern Pennsylvania that it did to businesses affected by Hurricane Katrina along the Gulf Coast.
HAZLETON – U.S. Rep. Lou Barletta, PA-11, today sent a letter to Republican leaders in the House demanding that the Disaster Relief Fund be fully funded.
Rep. Barletta sent the letter early Wednesday afternoon to House Speaker John Boehner, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, and House Appropriations Committee Chairman Hal Rogers.

Rep. Barletta strongly encourages his constituents to report damage as quickly and as thoroughly as possible.

Due to the unprecedented flooding affecting large parts of Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania, Rep. Lou Barletta is returning to the 11th District today.
Rep. Barletta’s office has been in touch with local, state, and federal officials regarding this ongoing disaster, and is actively monitoring this dangerous and historic situation.
