U.S. Rep. Lou Barletta to hold open house at Hazleton district office on April 26

WASHINGTON– U.S. Representative Lou Barletta, PA-11, will hold an open house in his district office in Hazleton on Tuesday, April 26, at 6 p.m.

“The people of the 11thDistrict deserve exceptional constituent service, and my office in Hazleton is well-equipped to provide that service,” Lou said. “Members of my staff  have also been traveling around Northeastern Pennsylvania to meet with constituents and discuss their issues.”

Representative Barletta’s office in Hazleton is inside the CAN DO Renaissance Center, 1 South Church Street, Suite 100, Hazleton. Regular office hours are 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Its phone number is (570) 751-0050, and the fax number is (570) 751-0054.

Other offices will open before the end of May.

Caseworkers also visit state representatives’ offices to hold constituent meetings. Those meeting are booked through the state representatives’ offices on the following schedule:

Monroe County: First and third Tuesdays of the month from 10 a.m. through noon at the Mount Pocono office of state Rep. Mario Scavello. Second and fourth Tuesdays of the month from 10 a.m. through noon at the East Stroudsburg office of state Rep. Rosemary Brown.

Columbia County: Second and fourth Wednesdays of the month from 10 a.m. through noon at the Bloomsburg office of state Rep. Dave Millard.

Carbon County: First and third Tuesdays from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lehighton office of state Rep. Doyle Heffley. Second and fourth Tuesdays from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Albrightsville office of state Rep. Doyle Heffley.

Luzerne County: First and third Wednesdays of the month from 10 a.m. through noon at the West Pittston Municipal Building Community Room, 555 Exeter Avenue. For an appointment, contact borough Administrator Savino Bonita or borough Secretary Ellen Rittle at 655-7780, ext. 221.

On a related note, Representative Barletta’s Hazleton and Washington offices will be closed on Friday, April 22, in observance of Good Friday.
